Aideron Robotics Officially Signing With Federal Militia - Scope
Marcel Devereux, CEO of Aideron Robotics, and creator of the widely popular "New Aura" project announced today his intentions to throw his resources behind the Federation Navy at war with the Caldari State. This comes after last weeks call-to-arms by the Federation, which has been rapidly losing ground to the Caldari since the drug Inferno has brought escalation to the conflict between factions.
"It is simply time that we must defend our home from the tyranny of the Caldari" Marcel said during his press conference this morning, "It is no longer viable to sit back and watch others use our weapons, it is time for Aideron Robotics to become the weapon we need in this war." Several other members of Aiderons' board of directors showed support for their CEO and his decision. Although we do not know what will happen to Aiderons' Industry Juggernaut during a conflict with the State, TheAhmosis has assured us in an interview that it will be "taken care of".
So what does this mean for the faction war? It may be too early to tell. Aideron Robotics has maintained a defense wing that has stood its ground in the past. Ashterothi, another director of AIDER and defector from the Amarr Empire stated to the press, "Now is not the time to stand idly by as others fight and die. Our freedom is at stake. My only hope is that our gesture will encourage others who enjoy their freedom to stand up and defend it."

Day One
YC113.01.20
Invictus: Ancient word for unconquerable.
Demonus: Ancient word for minion or servant.
Like thousands of Capsuleers before me, I awoke freshly immortal. Like thousands of Capsuleers before me I sat up and took in my surroundings with new eyes. However, my case was different, my circumstances were unique. As far as I know, I am the first Capsuleer to have no life prior to the transformation process. I have no body to euthanize, no parents to explain to, and no memories of a former life. I had knowledge, such as how to move and how to speak, but I also somehow knew that all of this information was implanted.
I began to take in my surroundings. The room was made from a bluish brushed steel. Four large halogen lights beamed glaringly towards the metal slab I sat on. Several terminals lined the walls, and cords hung from the ceiling, dangling near the center slab. I concluded swiftly that they must have been plugged into my body at some earlier point.
My analysis was cut short by a speaker leaping into life with a loud burst of angry feedback. A male's voice made its proclamation to me.
"Demonus project model I1337, you have awoken inside of a Caldari Navy research institute. The good news is that you sit as the only fully successful copy of the Demonus android project. The bad news however, is that the project has been canned. My orders are to release you, with the understanding that any attempts to compromise this organization, or the Caldari State will result in your reclamation. End of line."
As the speakers cracked off, I heard a metallic sliding noise from the door. I slid off the metallic slab, but as I did I heard a set of papers fall onto the ground. They must have been placed underneath me on the table. I picked them up and began reading them as I walked towards the door. I found that the door slid open as I approached it.
I walked down metal and glass corridors as if by instinct, engrossed in the information contained within the document. As it turns out, the 'Demonus' project was started in the later days of the Galente/Caldari war. The Galente was gaining the upper hand through the use of superior drone technology. Many encounters involved few Galente pilots, and so even with Caldaris superior skills, their losses were far more tragic. I research and development commission had been created by Ishukone, called the 'Demonus project', which came from an ancient word for 'spirit' or 'slave'. I assume they were more focused on the second meaning. We were designed to be superior, yet expendable pod pilots, indistinguishable from our cloned cousins.
Many people have asked me what I felt reading that document, walking for the first time in the Caldari Navy headquarters. Some have asked if I felt anger or betrayal. Such things are not within me. I am not like you, I am a machine, a proxy sent out to hide among you. I am the wolf in sheep's clothing. I did not feel anger, gratitude or fear, as such things are beyond me. I felt nothing.
